Development in communicating information has evoked new concepts in art. Digitalised media now exists as a living entity through our perception and ability to seek the future.

Signal ok.

What would the world look like if it only digital entities existed and nothing else?

What does digital actually represent as an art form?

Is it possible to create a digital painting?
I have created this project to gain a further understanding of digitalised media and try and answer the above questions.

A digitalised world would consist of computerised program that controls the out come and existence of probabilities. There would be control over every thing including your own thought patterns and dreams. As for visually, I think it would exist as a source code pattern. But for the user who is plug in, it would look and feel normal. But for an artist with imagination, it could look like my painting code of the streets for example.
The term 'digital' is usually associated with technology and communication. It generally represents better quality, sharper signal, and more functionability. So as an art form we can assume that a digital art form, must consist of a better picture or sharper sound. This can easily be justified in film or time based media, but what about painting?
To justify a painting to be digital it must exist as a digital entity, so some of the following components must be present; i.e. picture quality, sound quality etc.

I have recently explored the possibilities of rendering source code into the painting to gain a digital quality. In furthering my project I will explore sound and video in association with painting.
